Research into clean and renewable energy will decrease our reliance on carbon-intensive fossil fuels, while developing energy-efficient technology will reduce the impact of our growing energy needs. The objective of our research efforts (e.g. energy efficiency, solar energy, green buildings, etc.) is to improve the current state of technology, and to bring down production costs to a level that would make large-scale adoption commercially viable.
