"I am happy that this Summit generated consensus on the road ahead for sustainable development. Although there was broad agreement on the overall direction, there remains much work ahead to flesh out the details of the Sustainable Development Goals, to strengthen global governance of the environment, and how best to implement the Green Economy given the wide variety of national circumstances and capacities. The challenge for Singapore is to ensure that we remain in the forefront of these new developments and position ourselves to pursue new opportunities that will arise in the green economy of the future."
